My first year of university ended at 2pm today and I leave Wellington at the end of the week. How crazy is that? I still feel like I just got here.

It has become apparant that there is a certain level of cultural sophistication and general maturity that lacks in New Zealand youths but comes without trying to teenagers in Hong Kong. There are some people who really make it hard to be here sometimes. But then again, there are some people who make it a lot easier.

Hello, loves. The moving people are coming at 8:00am tomorrow to take away my life in boxes and transport it over to a little city called Wellington, where I also leave for later in the afternoon. I'm about to unplug my computer and pack it all away. It's a scary moment. Anyway, I'll be in a hotel until Sunday, and then I move in to my university accommodation, so I probably won't be online for at least a week. So that's where I'll be. Just so you know. In slightly related news, packing sucks. Talk soon, cheeky wee monkeys. Don't miss me too much. Love, Chess.

I love this whole "leaving" thing - I am now able to win any family argument simply by shouting, "Well, in a week's time I won't be here, so THEN YOU'LL BE HAPPY." It's awesome. Any last-minute pre-college tips from y'all that are already there? Things to bring? Things not to bring? Things you wish you'd known before going? Things you wish you hadn't known before going? Feel free to educate me.

Remember this? Well, read this. I'd be excited out of my pants, but I'm leaving before it starts on TV here. :( Oh, that Naomi. Such a tease.
